Erica Lawson has spent years working in the Hampton Roads Real Estate market with her husband, Dan Lawson. With over 20 years in nursing, she took her love of helping people with her into her real estate career. She understands how personal the process can be when buying or selling a home. Add to that, Erica was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia. This gives her a true understanding of the market and its unique communities and lifestyles. Erica is a licensed Real Estate Professional in Virginia and is a member of the National Association of Realtors.
As a Team Member
As a member of The Dan Lawson Real Estate Team, Erica works with sellers, buyers, and property managers. Selling a home can be a daunting task for sellers, so she works with them to make the process as easy as possible. She discusses their motivations and needs, so she can understand their goals and timeframe for selling. Erica commits to making sure their home is marketed and seen by prospective buyers’ agents and homebuyers. This includes utilizing the listings services, professional photography, open houses, and online marketing.
Erica also works in our property management division, helping both owners and renters. Her hands-on approach makes it easy to get properties listed and rented. For property owners, she handles everything from listing the properties to signage and pictures. She does the quarterly property inspections and reports and coordinates needed repairs. Erica works with qualified renters to handle the paperwork and money. She even meets tenants at the property on move in day.

In Addition to Real Estate
When she’s not helping clients like you, Erica loves to travel. She likes to take cruises and RV with the family. Like Dan, on a pretty day, you may find her riding with him on motorcycles on the open country roads in rural Virginia. She lives in Smithfield, Virginia with Dan and their three kids.
